NATIONAL FEDERATION
One Voice for Our People
At the national level, our people speak with one voice. The National Peak Body brings together the strength of every State Association and carries the collective mandate of Heritage Australians.
This is where local action and state momentum unite into a national organisation that cannot be ignored. It is an authority that represents our community in public life with dignity and strength.
What the National Peak Body Does
The Peak Body exists to amplify and defend the voice of Heritage Australians. It:
- Leads national campaigns that reflect the will of our members.
- Represents our people in federal civic and political affairs.
- Provides national coordination, training, and resources to every State Association.
- Ensures our community is recognised and respected across Australia.
Why National Representation Matters
Local Associations give people a place to stand. State Associations provide momentum and strategy. Only a National Peak Body can:
- Speak with authority in national debates.
- Secure recognition for our community in federal institutions.
- Protect our culture, heritage, and future at the highest level.
How the Toolkit and Handbook Support National Organising
The same resources that empower Local and State Associations also guide the National Peak Body.
• The Handbook shows how to campaign nationally, coordinate across states, and build unity.
• The Toolkit provides a constitutional pathway and structures that ensure the Peak Body remains transparent, democratic, and strong.
Your Next Step
Every rung on the ladder matters. Local organising leads to state coordination, and together they create the National Peak Body.
Your participation is the foundation. By building your Local Association, you become part of the movement that grows into a voice for our people across the nation.
